How do I know whether the water has been made safe to drink ?
Each Aquasafe unit is supplied with a number of Water Pasteurisation Indicators ( known as WAPI's) . The WAPI contains a special wax that melts at 65 degrees celsius. The molten wax runs from the top of WAPI down towards the bottom, thereby giving a easy visual signal that the water is, or has been, at 65degrees celsius.
When the water has reached this temperature, pasteurisation has occured and the water is safe to drink.
