Can I re-use the WAPI ?
Yes.
Once the water has been pasteurized, remove the WAPI by unscrewing the bottlecap and pulling the string to which the WAPI is attached, thereby extracting the WAPI from the bottle. Replace the bottlecap as soon as possible.
(Be careful not to touch the top of the bottle while the bottlecap is off).
Then simply pull the metal ring to the opposite end of the wax in the WAPI, and the unit is ready for re-use. Its that simple !
The WAPI can be used again and again. And since it too is heated to 65 degrees Celsius during the next cycle, it does not need to be cleaned or rinsed.
Between use, store it in a safe place (away from playful fingers!)
